Steve Hollis, B E (Hons) F I E Aust
Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director
Steve Hollis has been the managing director of Lloyd Energy since January 2002. He is a civil engineer with 38 years experience in managing engineering projects.

In 1988 he was appointed managing director of the Scott & Furphy Group of companies and in 1991 the company merged with Crooks Michell Peacock and Stewart to form CMPS&F Pty Ltd, at that time Australia’s largest engineering consulting group with a staff of 1,200.

In 1998 Steve joined SMEC becoming Executive Director, Development until his appointment as managing director of Lloyd Energy.

Russel J. Ingersoll
Non-Executive Director
Russel Ingersoll is the Managing Director of The RJI Group, an executive search firm conducting senior level executive search on behalf of national and international clients located both within Australia and overseas.

Russel was the Chairman of Lake Technology Limited, a public company at the forefront of audio engineering research and development and was the Chairman of the AMP Foundation.

He was the International Chairman and Managing partner of the Sydney office of TASA International and has held several Board Directorships including, Deputy Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, Member of the Defence Housing Authority and the Director of CMPS & F, a leading engineering consulting company.

Neil Lewis
Non-Executive Director
Neil Lewis has over 30 year’s world wide business experience in large equipment, plant and facility financings covering many industries and including both debt and equity placement.

In 1983 he established the Babcock & Brown enterprise in Australia and managed its development during its early years and in 1986 opened the Japanese market to cross border project financings.

In 1990 he established the boutique merchant banking firm Meridian International Capital Limited.

His activities have been focused on the development of many financial products, including their structuring, marketing and management, particularly in the area of domestic and cross-border financing of large scale infrastructure, plant, facilities and equipment.

Nick Bain
Non-Executive Director
Mr Bain is the Head of the Infrastructure Group at Allco, based in Sydney.  He is responsible for Allco’s Infrastructure asset classes and has led financing of over $5 billion worth of assets.  In 2005, Mr Bain established Allco Wind Energy and has completed acquisition of in excess of 2,000MW of wind development assets in Australia, New Zealand and the US.  He has previously held responsibility for offshore aviation, foreign asset classes and capital markets activities and was jointly responsible for establishing Allco’s aviation business.  Major transactions include arranging domestic and cross border debt and equity transactions for major banks and debt raising for semi-government borrowers such as NSW Treasury, QTC and MMBW. 

Prior to joining Allco, Mr Bain worked at Fay, Richwhite & Co as director of Australian capital markets and prior to that as a chartered accountant at Arthur Young & Co.

Mr Bain has extensive experience in Allco’s asset finance and capital markets businesses in Australia, the US and Europe.  He holds a BA (Accountancy) degree from South Australia Institute of Technology and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1984.
